MUS offers a variety of Summer Programs designed to help current and future Owls build skills, explore educational and creative topics, and have a great time. Whether a student is seeking activities in academics, arts, or athletics, MUS will make summer fun and engaging!

ACADEMIC, ART, OR MUSIC COURSES
Our academic courses offer educational enrichment in a relaxed environment. Students can complete summer reading assignments early or enhance their math or English skills. Art and music camps provide opportunities to explore artistic passions. 
 
ATHLETIC CAMPS
Our sports camps build teamwork, confidence, and athleticism. Campers develop skills and enhance their overall physical fitness while working in a fun team environment with outstanding MUS coaches. Check out baseball, basketball, lacrosse, or soccer camps today!

CHESS
Our campus will host the 2025 Mid-South Chess Camp from June 9-13. This premier camp is open to children of all ages and skill levels.

SPORTS AND LEADERSHIP
Sports and Leadership Camp is an exciting weeklong full- or half-day camp. Boys entering Grades 4-7 will explore a variety of sports, learn strategic thinking, and develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with others in diverse team settings.

Summer Assignments

GET READY FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR!
To give students the best possible start at MUS, we offer summer academic preparation and new-student placement testing.

PLACEMENT TESTING, SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS
  1. New-Student Placement Testing
    All new students must have placement testing; existing students do not. Tests will be offered in the Wunderlich Auditorium in the Campus Center (No. 14 on THIS campus map). Parents of incoming Owls should register their students HERE for ONE of the following dates:
    - Saturday, March 29, 9 a.m.
    - Saturday, April 5, 9 a.m.
    - Saturday, April 12, 9 a.m.
    - Saturday, April 26, 1 p.m.

  2. Summer Reading and Math Packet Assignments
    All students are assigned summer academic work in English and mathematics. Assignments will be available by April 1.

  3. Optional Summer Academic-Prep Courses
    We offer a host of academic, art, and athletic summer camps and courses. Reading Mastery courses are available to help students complete their summer reading assignments early.
