Lower School Basketball Tryout Inormation

 

MUS will sponsor three lower school competitive basketball teams during the 2024-25 school year: a sixth-grade team, a seventh-grade team, and an eighth-grade team. Tryouts for all three teams are scheduled for Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. Students are expected to sign up for tryouts at school during the week of tryouts and then to attend tryouts on both days. 

 

6^th and 7^th graders: 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

8^th graders: 4:45 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

 

6^th and 7^th graders: 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

8^th graders: 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

 

Also, MUS basketball coaches are offering Saturday open gyms for skill development and pickup games from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on the following dates: August 31, September 7, 14, 21, and 28. Any students intending to try out for a team this year are invited to participate. Attendance is not required and will not factor into the roster decisions for this year’s teams.
