Owls Enjoy International Fair

The Counseling Department, Inclusion and Belonging Committee, and Department of Classical and Modern Languages held an International Fair on November 22 in Ross Lynn Arena to punctuate the end of International Week.
Classical and Modern Languages Chair Ryan Sellers led a short introduction to the fair in Hyde Chapel where students performed The Lord’s Prayer in three languages. Michael Liu ’24 recited the prayer in Latin, Andrew Ogbeide ’24 in French, and Kellett Giles in Spanish.

Parents, faculty, alumni, and students representing 23 countries hosted tables laden with food, art, and artifacts that highlighted their cultures. Owls stopped by the tables, talking with the multinational participants and sampling food and beverages from around the world.

The Hyde Library added a table displaying International Books while the Art Department put together a display of international-themed artwork provided by students.
