Memphis Day 2025

This year, we will celebrate our music heritage and explore the influence our hometown has on all things music. We have exciting events planned!

• This is an official school day, so we expect Owls to be at school and reporting for Homeroom by 8:10 a.m. On-campus events (and the official school day) will end at 1:45 p.m. Breakfast (limited to 7:30-8:05 a.m.) and lunch will be served in the Dining Hall. ASAP will be available 2-5:30 p.m. for those who need to remain on campus. Regular dress code applies, but boys may wear 2025 Memphis Day T-shirts.
• Parents and students are responsible for travel to and from afternoon activities.
• Students are encouraged to head Downtown after dismissal to see the varsity Owls battle University School of Jackson at 2:15 p.m. in FedExForum. Purchase your ticket HERE. The same ticket provides admission to see the Grizzlies take on the Houston Rockets at 7 p.m.
• From 4-5 p.m. students and faculty/staff can tour the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum. The first 200 students and faculty/staff to sign up HERE will receive free admission. Admission is $11 for adults, $8 for ages 5-17, and free for kids 4 and under.
• Owls can have dinner on their own and head back to FedExForum for the Grizz game. Come early so you can catch Beg To Differ perform the national anthem a few minutes before tipoff!
• If you are interested in purchasing a 2025 Memphis Day T-shirt, pre-order HERE for $10 each. The deadline to reserve a shirt is December 20. Pre-order shirts will be distributed at school January 6-8. A limited quantity of shirts will be available for purchase January 6-8 for $15 each.
