9th Grade Owls Top The Brothers In Season Opener

The freshmen Owls started the season with an impressive win over CBHS, 21-6. Price Renovich threw two touchdown passes, one to James Hanlon of 54 yards and one to Palmer Albertine of 46 yards, and Tommie Reed added a nice 27-yard scoring scamper. The Owl defense, led by Haynes Kiser and Hudson Mashburn, held the Purple Wave to only 140 total yards, and Caden Peeler added a big interception in the route to the convincing win. Great start for these players and coaches!
Next up for the team is Briarcrest on Monday, August 26 at MUS. Kick off is set for 6:00 for this 9th/JV combo game.
