The recently graduated seniors participated with Latin Instructor David Gagliano in the World Series of Certamen and made it to the semifinals. Mr. Austin Chu ’04, a dedicated supporter of the MUS Latin program and the NJCL, visited with the Owl contingent.
Albert Ding, 2nd vice president for the Tennessee Junior Classical League, led the Tennessee state spirit cheers each day. “It was a great experience to get involved with the JCL community,” he said. “It’s amazing to see how the study of classics can bring everyone together in competitions from academic tests and certamen to ludi sports and spirit.”
